Aligning, Holding and Fixing Flexible and Difficult to Handle Components – AFFIX
Objectives:
- Create a strong manufacturing sector in Europe, which is both environmentally friendly and competitive
- Develop highly efficient and flexible systems which can respond to assembly requirements of low volume, high value, large and flexible structures
- Develop tools, technologies and techniques to align, hold and fix light, flexible and complex components
- Help manufacture cheaper, lighter and greener products
- Reduce overall manufacturing costs.
