Dr Hongyi Yang

Dr Hongyi Yang holds a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering working on biomaterials and tissue engineering. She joined the PMC in 2007 and has a wide experience in materials science and manufacturing engineering. Her expertise includes polymer, ceramic, photocurable system, biomaterials, tissue engineering scaffold, powder mixing, extrusion freeforming and rapid prototyping. Her current research is concentrated on the manufacturing of micro/nano devices with advanced rapid prototyping technologies. She has worked across numerous projects including those on microstereolithography, rapid prototyping, focus ion beam nano manufacturing, novel drug delivery systems and micro assembly with design and fabrication micro devices.
