Pedro Ferreira

Pedro is a graduate of Electrical Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the New University of Lisbon. He has been working on the EUPASS project with several partners including Philips, Bosch, Electrolux, Beckhoff and Festo, which provided the justification for his research. The EUPASS project aims to develop, implement and promote affordable cost effective and sustainable ultra-precision manufacturing solutions by offering rapidly deployable ultra-precision assembly services on demand. Pedro is involved in the development of the synthetic environment of the EUPASS project. Pedro's research is concerned with the configuration and reconfiguration of modular assembly systems enabled by agent technology.
